Carscoops
Streaming has transformed the media landscape, but sports draw millions to traditional broadcasters.
Automakers are well aware of this and heavily promote their latest products during football season.
Chevrolet and Toyota have been highlighting the Camry and Equinox, while Honda is airing a motivational message.
The airwaves used to be filled with car commercials, but the world has changed as many consumers now get their entertainment through streaming services. However, with football season in full swing and the World Series right around the corner, more eyes will be directed at FOX, NBC, and CBS.
Automakers are prominently featured during these broadcasts as there’s the Toyota Halftime Show and Chevrolet Postgame wrap up. However, we’re more interested in the ads themselves and whether or not you’re paying attention to them.

If you have, you’ve likely seen Honda’s Unstoppable Dreams, which features Ayrton Senna as well as Max Verstappen. The clip beckons your attention as it starts with classic Formula One racing footage and then shows a series of setbacks as a discouraging message is read aloud.
The video culminates on “this is the point I give up,” before revealing its true purpose as a motivational reverse poem. That hook makes the ad far more meaningful and elevates it beyond the typical automotive commercial.
That’s especially true after seeing some of the competition, which includes an upbeat spot promoting the 2025 Toyota Camry and a rather bland ad for the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox. Hyundai is also running Santa Fe commercials that date back to the Super Bowl.
With all that being said, do your ears perk up when you hear a car commercial on TV or does it just fade into the background like white noise?
