2024 Hyundai Palisade Gets New Calligraphy Black Ink Trim In Australia

Carscoops

The Hyundai Palisade range has just been updated for the 2024 model year in Australia. Changes are minor, but prospective customers will be pleased to know that some new features have been added and a new trim level introduced.

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade range now consists of the Elite, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Black Ink. Alterations made to the entry-level Elite are small but it does now include deluxe alloy scuff plates, a Melange knit headliner, acoustic front windows, an 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat, heated steering wheel, faux wooden inserts, and a carpet mat in the cargo area. Prices for the 2024 Palisade Elite start at AU$66,800 ($42,458) with the 3.8-liter GDi petrol engine and AU$70,800 ($45,000) for the 2.2-liter CRDi turbocharged four-cylinder diesel.

Sitting in the middle of the range is the Palisade Calligraphy. This trim level replaces the Highlander and is also offered with the 3.8-liter petrol engine and the 2.2-liter turbo-diesel, priced from AU$75,900 ($48,242) and AU$79,900 ($50,784) respectively. It benefits from a host of upgrades over the Elite and includes more safety and driver-assistance functions, Nappa leather-appointed seats, a suede headliner, and a 12-way power adjustable driver’s seat. Inclusions over the old Highlander include hydrophobic front door glass, acoustic and laminated rear door glass, and touch controls for the air conditioning.

New for the 2024 model year is the Calligraphy Black Ink. It also rocks gloss black roof rails, gloss black 20-inch wheels, black badges, tinted taillights, black suede seats, and a black suede headliner.

Prices for the 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Black Ink start at AU$76,900 ($48,889) for the 3.8-liter petrol and AU$80,900 ($51,432) for the 2.2-liter turbo-diesel.
