Vikings scrape by Bears for huge NFC North win

Kirk Cousins threw for a touchdown, Jordan Hicks returned a fumble 42 yards for a score and the Minnesota Vikings knocked Justin Fields out of the game in beating the Chicago Bears 19-13 on Sunday.

The Vikings (2-4) made enough plays without injured star receiver Justin Jefferson to shake off a loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs and win for the second time in three games.

Fields was sacked four times and exited with a right hand injury early in the third quarter, and the Bears (1-5) lost again after stopping a 14-game slide at Washington last week.

Fields seemed to be favoring his hand following a third-down sack by Danielle Hunter on Chicago’s first possession of the second half. The Bears punted, and Fields headed to the locker room.

Rookie Tyson Bagent came in and got strip-sacked by safety Josh Metellus on Chicago’s next drive. Hicks scooped up the loose ball near the left sideline and returned it 42 yards for a touchdown, making it 19-6.

Bagent — undrafted out of Division II Shepherd University — cut it to 19-13 midway through the fourth when he scored from the 1 for his first touchdown, capping a 77-yard drive.

The Bears were at the Minnesota 35 with about two minutes left in the game when Bagent underthrew DJ Moore on a deep pass. Byron Murphy Jr. picked it off at the 8, returned the ball 30 yards and recovered his fumble at the Vikings 45.

Cousins completed 21 of 31 passes for 181 yards. The four-time Pro Bowler threw a 10-yard touchdown to Jordan Addison near the end of the first half.

T.J. Hockenson caught six passes for 50 yards.

Addison, who figures to have a bigger role with Jefferson sidelined by a hamstring injury, had three receptions for 28 yards. Hunter had two of Minnesota’s five sacks, and the Vikings won their fifth in a row against Chicago.

Fields, coming off his two best games as a passer, was 6 of 10 for 58 yards and an interception. Bagent was 10 of 14 with 83 yards in his debut, and the Bears came away with the loss on a day when they paid tribute to Dick Butkus with a video and No. 51 uniform patches. It was their first home game since the Hall of Famer died on Oct. 5.

INJURIES

Vikings: LG Ezra Cleveland (foot) was hurt in the fourth quarter. … LB Marcus Davenport (ankle) exited early in the second quarter.

Bears: RG Nate Davis (ankle) exited in the first quarter. He was helped off the field when Fields fell on his leg after being hit by Metellus on a short pass.

Suzanne Somers had battled breast cancer for more than 20 years

US actress Suzanne Somers has died at the age of 76 following a decades-long battle with cancer, her publicist has confirmed.

“Her family was gathered to celebrate her 77th birthday,” reads a statement shared with media.

“Instead, they will celebrate her extraordinary life, and want to thank her millions of fans and followers who loved her dearly.”

As well as an actress, Somers was an author and fitness guru.

She began her acting career in the late 1960s and early 1970s with small parts in TV shows including The Love Boat and One Day at a Time before landing the role of Chrissy Snow in Three’s Company in 1977.

Somers starred in the show for five of its eight seasons before being fired following a dispute over pay.

Following a break from on-screen acting that included a stint as an entertainer in Las Vegas, she returned to on-screen acting in the early 1990s – taking up a lead role in Step by Step, which ran for seven seasons.

Her later TV credits included co-hosting Candid Camera, her own talk show The Suzanne Show and an appearance on Dancing with the Stars.

Somers also built up a multimillion dollar fitness empire, appearing in commercials for the Thighmaster and ButtMaster exercise equipment and releasing several self-help books on topics including wellness and weight loss. She launched her own beauty brand in 2019.

She was first diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in her 50s and announced on social media in July that, after being in remission, it had returned.

“I know how to put on my battle gear and I’m a fighter,” she wrote on Instagram.

A private family burial will be held for Somers next week, according to her publicist, with a memorial to be held in November.

Somers is survived by her husband and son.

Jordan to face a challenger in floor vote Tuesday

Congress

A faction of Republicans that strongly opposes Jim Jordan is vowing he’ll have a challenger during the House floor speakership vote on Tuesday, according to two House Republicans familiar with the planning.

While they have not yet nailed down a specific name, they believe the person they ultimately land on will not only be able block Jordan from the speakership, but also give cover to those who want to vote against him. The challenger will certainly take arrows from the far-right flank of the conference, which is pushing hard for Jordan.

“There will be an alternative for the rational part of the Republican conference,” said one of these House Republicans.

It’s an unwelcome development for Jordan that will further complicate his rocky bid to get to 217 votes on the House floor. Few House Republicans had predicted he would face a competitor after he won the conference’s nomination on Friday.

Jordan was the second speaker nominee this past week, after his supporters first helped block Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) by making clear they would not give him the 217 votes needed.

That upset Scalise allies, leading one – Rep. Austin Scott (R-Ga.) – to challenge Jordan. Scott received 81 votes, vs. 124 for Jordan.

And in a subsequent secret-ballot vote, where members registered whether they would support or oppose Jordan on the floor, results weren’t much better: 55 House Republicans continued to say they will oppose him for the speakership.

“Chairman Jordan is looking forward to uniting the entire conference on Tuesday in order to get back to work and pass the bills that the American people expect by giving Israel the resources they need to destroy Hamas and securing the southern border,” Jordan spokesperson Russell Dye said in a statement.

Most House Republicans believe that number will come down, but the question is by how much. Conservative allies of Jordan believe there are about a dozen hard “no” votes, but those who oppose him believe they have closer to 20. Jordan, however, needs to win over more than 50 opponents to become speaker.

While there was a push for the party to support the nominee who the conference selected with a majority vote, Jordan supporters made clear quickly and loudly they wouldn’t back Scalise. Now, the same is happening to Jordan.

Jordan allies, meanwhile, want to charge into a floor vote with the hope that the public pressure from the conservative base, radio talk show hosts, and their own GOP colleagues, among others, will change the holdouts’ minds. Not to mention the threat of a primary challenge.

“It’s time for a floor vote! Republicans should come back to DC to elect Jim Jordan the Speaker of the House. What are we waiting for? The American people want Jim to be the next Speaker,” Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Jordan’s Freedom Caucus ally, wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

American Actress Suzanne Somers Dies at 76

USA – Voice of America

Suzanne Somers, the effervescent blonde actor known for playing Chrissy Snow on the television show “Three’s Company” as well as her business endeavors, has died. She was 76.

Somers had breast cancer for over 23 years and died Sunday morning, her family said in a statement provided by her longtime publicist, R. Couri Hay. Her husband Alan Hamel, her son Bruce and other immediate family were with her in Palm Springs, California.

“Her family was gathered to celebrate her 77th birthday on October 16th,” the statement read. “Instead, they will celebrate her extraordinary life, and want to thank her millions of fans and followers who loved her dearly.”

In July, Somers shared on Instagram that her breast cancer had returned.

“Like any cancer patient, when you get that dreaded, ‘It’s back’ you get a pit in your stomach. Then I put on my battle gear and go to war,” she told “Entertainment Tonight” at the time. “This is familiar battleground for me and I’m very tough.”

She was first diagnosed in 2000, and also had skin cancer. She faced some backlash for her reliance on what she described as a chemical-free and organic lifestyle to combat the cancers. She argued against the use of chemotherapy, in books and on platforms like “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” which drew criticism from the American Cancer Society.

Somers was born in 1946 in San Bruno, California, to a gardener father and a medical secretary mother. She began acting in the late 1960s, playing the blonde driving the white Thunderbird in George Lucas’s 1973 film “American Graffiti.” Her only line was mouthing the words “I love you” to Richard Dreyfuss’s character.

At her audition, Lucas just asked her if she could drive. She later said that moment “changed her life forever.”

Somers would later stage a one-woman Broadway show titled “The Blonde in the Thunderbird,” which drew largely scathing reviews.

She appeared in many television shows in the 1970s, including “The Rockford Files,” “Magnum Force” and “The Six Million Dollar Man,” but her most famous part came with “Three’s Company,” which aired on ABC from 1977 to 1984 — though her participation ended in 1981.

On “Three’s Company,” she was the ditzy blonde opposite John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt in the roommate comedy. In 1980, after four seasons, she asked for a raise from $30,000 an episode to $150,000 an episode, which would have been comparable to what Ritter was getting paid. Hamel, a former television producer, had encouraged the ask.

“The show’s response was, ‘Who do you think you are?’” Somers told People in 2020. “They said, ‘John Ritter is the star.’”

She was soon fired and her character replaced by two different roommates for the remaining years the show aired. It also led to a rift with her co-stars; They didn’t speak for many years. Somers did reconcile with Ritter before his death, and then with DeWitt on her online talk show.

But Somers took the break as an opportunity to pursue new avenues, including a Las Vegas act, writing books, hosting a talk show and becoming an entrepreneur. In the 1990s, she also became the spokesperson for the “Thighmaster.”

Somers returned to network television in the 1990s, most famously on “Step by Step,” which aired on ABC’s youth-targeted TGIF lineup. The network also aired a biopic of her life, starring her, called “Keeping Secrets.”

Aaron Rodgers throws on Jets’ field during pregame warm-ups just weeks after Achilles surgery

Latest & Breaking News on Fox News

No matter how the New York Jets’ game goes against the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, fans will be happy to see Aaron Rodgers getting in some work on the MetLife Stadium turf.

Rodgers was seen throwing some footballs before the Jets took on the Eagles. And he didn’t need any crutches or assistance in a little more than four weeks since his Achilles surgery.

Rodgers didn’t run around but remained in a stationery position as he threw passes to some Jets staff as well as injured cornerback Sauce Gardner, who was ruled out with a concussion before the game.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM

But it was clear Rodgers was putting weight on that surgically repaired Achilles, delivering passes around 15 yards.

Rodgers wasn’t expected to be in East Rutherford on Sunday as he noted his rehab was going to be done in California before returning to the Jets after the Week 7 bye. But Rodgers, who was present two weeks ago for the Jets’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs, will be present to watch his Gang Green squad again.

AARON RODGERS RECEIVING LARGE SUM FOR ‘PAT MCAFEE SHOW’ APPEARANCES: REPORT

Rodgers also mentioned that he wouldn’t rule out playing again this season after suffering the torn Achilles on Sept. 11 – just four snaps into his Jets tenure. The 39-year-old’s goal is to defy expectations that he will need a whole year before returning to the field again.

While we don’t know where Rodgers is at on his recovery timeline, the fact that he is throwing close to five weeks after surgery without needing assistance is pretty remarkable.

According to ESPN, Rodgers is using blood flow restriction therapy, which allows the building of muscle around the repair with “low-load exercise.” However, the Achilles needs around three months to reach a full recovery before an athlete can start doing more explosive rehab, which includes jumping and running.

There are still many skeptics surrounding Rodgers’ return to the field this season because of that timeline that usually takes place for Achilles recovery. But don’t tell the four-time MVP that.

Meanwhile, the Jets improved to 2-3 last week when they took down the Denver Broncos on the road, a much-needed win for head coach Robert Saleh and Rodgers’ replacement, quarterback Zach Wilson.

The Jets will continue to lean on Wilson, but Rodgers’ recovery journey took a big step in the public’s eye on Sunday to the point where some skeptics might start believing he can return at some point this year.

Seahawks' DK Metcalf gives unnecessary shove to Bengals player

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf was penalized on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals when he unnecessarily shoved defensive back Cam Taylor-Britt.

It appeared Metcalf was frustrated with the play on offense and took it out on the cornerback. Metcalf ran down the field looking for the ball with Taylor-Britt guarding him. As the defender ran back toward the ball, Metcalf came over from behind and gave him a big shove.

Blinken says Hamas to blame for foreign nationals not being able to leave Gaza; Egypt ready to help

Latest & Breaking News on Fox News

Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Sunday claimed Hamas has disrupted the departure of foreign nationals from the Gaza Strip, adding that Egypt is prepared to help with getting people out and aid into the area.

Blinken was interviewed by Randa Abul Azm of Al-Arabiya on Sunday, who asked the secretary about efforts to get civilians out of harm’s way in Gaza, as Israel stages a ground offensive.

Azm prefaced a question to Blinken about getting humanitarian aid into Gaza and evacuating foreign nationals by saying, “The efforts to evacuate foreign nationals from Gaza Strip has been blocked by Israelis.”

ISRAEL GIVES PAELESTINIAN CITIZENS DEADLINE TO FLEE GAZA AS TROOPS AMASS ON BORDER

Blinken had a different take on the matter.

“Israel is not blocking the departure of foreign nationals,” he said. “The problem has been Hamas has disrupted that, and of course, we have to make the necessary arrangements.”

He went on to say Egypt authorities are ready to help with the departure of citizens and foreign nationals.

ISRAEL TELLS GAZA CITIZENS TO EVACUATE TO ‘MINIMIZE CIVILIAN CASUALTIES’ IN WAR AGAINST HAMAS

“At the same time, Egypt is fully prepared – and we’re working with them – to get assistance in,” Blinken said. “And we’re putting in place a system – working with the United Nations, working with Egypt, working with other countries – to make sure that the assistance can get into Gaza, get to the people who need it.”

The secretary accused Hamas of putting civilians in harm’s way, knowing its actions would bring “a strong reaction,” but went ahead with its attack anyway.

“And the fact of the matter is this: What does Hamas do? Hamas makes sure that all of its critical leaders, that its command centers, that its weapons, its ammunitions are all located in residential areas, in residential buildings or buried underneath hospitals, schools, and supermarkets,” Blinken said. “They know – they are using Palestinians of Gaza as human shields, and that, too, is disgraceful.”

SAUDI ARABIA SWITCHES FOCUS FROM ISRAEL TO IRAN TO COOL TENSIONS FOLLOWING HAMAS TERRORIST ATTACK: REPORT

Several countries have started to raise concerns about the growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza as Israel prepares to invade the territory after falling victim to a surprise attack by Hamas-led terrorists.

Discussions about getting humanitarian aid to Gaza have taken place at various levels, with an urgency to move as “quickly as possible on the critical issue of humanitarian access in Gaza.”

At least 3,200 people have been killed since Hamas launched thousands of missiles into Israel last week, including at least 1,300 Israeli civilians and soldiers and 27 Americans. Palestinian health authorities say at least 2,215 Palestinians have been killed, and more than 8,700 wounded.

FIRST CHARTERED FLIGHT LANDS IN GREECE WITH EVACUATED US CITIZENS FROM ISRAEL

On Friday, Israel issued a warning for residents in northern Gaza to evacuate the area within 24 hours as a “humanitarian step” that aims to “minimize civilian casualties” during its planned ground offensive into the territory.

The United Nation’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reported that the cumulative figure of displaced individuals has exceeded 338,000, “of whom over two-thirds are taking shelter in schools run by the UNRWA,” referring to the Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Relief in the Near East.

The U.S. urged Israel to delay the start of the operation to allow the 1.1 million people living in the north to relocate. President Biden and Blinken have both repeatedly stressed the need for Israel to adhere to the “rules of war.”

COLLEGE CAMPUS PROTESTS ERUPT ACROSS US AHEAD OF ANTICIPATED ISRAEL OPERATION IN GAZA

The U.S. has reiterated that Hamas is responsible for the current atrocities and do not reflect the Palestinian people, who must be protected.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi called for access through Rafah in a speech Thursday, but he also warned against letting in large numbers of Palestinians.

“The threat there is significant because it means the liquidation of this (Palestinian) cause,” el-Sissi said at a military college graduation ceremony in Cairo. “It’s important for its people to stay steadfast and exist on its land.”

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry later called the evacuation order a “grave violation” of international law.

Egyptian officials have long feared that Israel seeks to make their country responsible for Palestinians in Gaza, which Egypt ruled between the 1948 and 1967 Mideast wars. Egypt has joined Israel in its blockade of the Gaza Strip since the Hamas takeover, tightly controlling entry of supplies and the exit of people.

Ramaswamy campaign hauls in $7.4M during the past three months

Latest & Breaking News on Fox News

FIRST ON FOX – Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy hauled in $7.4 million during the third quarter of 2023, according to the Ramaswamy campaign.

The funding includes an in-kind $1 million contribution the biotech multimillionaire made to his campaign in the third quarter.

Ramaswamy now has more than 130,000 unique donors, nearly doubling the 70,000 requirement for entry into the third debate.

According to his campaign, Ramaswamy in the third quarter received over 143,000 individual donations from over 78,000 unique donors averaging a $38 contribution in the past three months. He saw a 198% increase in gross raised over the past three months and a 121% increase in the number of donations compared to the second quarter.

Among the donors, his campaign touts that nearly 40% of them are first-time Republican donors while pointing to low single-digit averages for other candidates.

VIVEK RAMASWAMY, DEM REP. RO KHANNA FLOAT DEBATE IN NEW HAMPSHIRE

The fundraising period included the first two Republican debates, where Ramaswamy made his first impression on millions of voters and was a major target by his GOP rivals on the debate stage.

Ramaswamy’s numbers come as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s campaign touted a $15 million raised in the third quarter while former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley’s campaign says it brought in $11 million. However, their numbers pale in comparison to the $45.5 million former President Trump’s campaign raised during the same period.

All four of the candidates have already met the RNC’s polling and donor requirements for third primary debate set for Nov. 8 in Miami. Ramaswamy’s campaign told FOX News Digital he has exceeded 130,000 total unique donors, nearly double the 70,000 donor requirement.

Texans hold off Saints’ late surge to pick up third win of season

Latest & Breaking News on Fox News

Rookie C.J. Stroud threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns and the Houston Texans got two defensive stops late to hold on for a 20-13 win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

The victory matches Houston’s win total from last season when the team finished 3-13-1.

The Saints (3-3) trailed by 7 when Derek Carr threw a 51-yard pass to Rashid Shaheed to get them to the Houston 35. Five consecutive runs by Alvin Kamara got them to the 14. But Carr’s pass to Kamara on fourth-and-4 was short to give Houston the ball back with 4½ minutes to go.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM

Shaquill Griffin and Blake Cashman combined to take Kamara down near the Texans sideline where coach DeMeco Ryans celebrated with his defense.

Houston (3-3) couldn’t move the ball after that and punted it back. New Orleans got to the Houston 24 on the next drive, but Carr’s throw on fourth-and-10 was intercepted by Steven Nelson with 21 seconds left to secure the win.

Carr threw for a season-high 353 yards and a touchdown but often couldn’t finish drives as the Saints, lost for the third time in four games after opening the season 2-0.

The Texans led 17-10 at halftime and made it 20-10 on a 22-yard field goal with about seven minutes left in the third quarter. Houston had a first down at the 1-yard line after a pass interference call against Marshon Lattimore in the end zone. But two incomplete passes and a 3-yard loss on a run by Dameon Pierce forced the Texans to settle for the short field goal.

Blake Grupe’s 45-yard field goal cut the lead to 20-13 with about two minutes remaining in the third. Carr was sacked by Sheldon Rankins for a loss of 11 yards on second down and threw an incomplete pass on third to bring up fourth down.

TEXANS PULL OFF HUGE UPSET OVER JAGUARS; FULLBACK TAKES KICK RETURN FOR TOUCHDOWN

New Orleans had a shot to cut the deficit on its next drive, but Grupe’s 29-yard attempt sailed wide right.

Kamara had 19 carries for 68 yards and Chris Olave had seven receptions for 96 yards.

The Saints missed a 52-yard field-goal attempt on their first drive.

Stroud threw his first interception of the season in the first quarter after setting an NFL record for attempts without a pick to start a career. Stroud entered the game having thrown 186 passes without an interception to pass Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott, who threw 176 passes before being intercepted.

Stroud threw five passes Sunday to stretch the streak to 191 before a pass intended for Dalton Schultz was intercepted by Zack Baun with about six minutes left in the first quarter.

But receiver Nico Collins hit Baun after the interception and forced a fumble, which was recovered by Tytus Howard, to give the Texans the ball back.

Stroud put the Texans up 7-0 when he threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Schultz to give him a TD in three straight games.

New Orleans tied it when Carr connected with Shaheed on a 34-yard touchdown pass late in the first quarter.

Houston added a 24-yard field goal with about 10½ minutes remaining in the second quarter to make it 10-7.

The Texans made it 17-7 when Robert Woods caught a 6-yard TD pass from Stroud about three minutes until halftime. Collins got that drive going with a 28-yard reception.

New Orleans cut the lead to 17-10 when Grupe made a 48-yard field goal just before halftime.

INJURIES

Houston S Eric Murray injured a knee in the first quarter. … New Orleans LG James Hurst injured an ankle in the second quarter. … RT Ryan Ramczyk left in the fourth quarter to be evaluated for a concussion.

SACKED

Stroud was sacked two times Sunday after the Texans entered the game having not allowed a sack in a franchise-record three games. Carl Granderson had one and Demario Davis had the other.

Jaguars torch AFC South-rival Colts in third straight win in return from London

Latest & Breaking News on Fox News

Trevor Lawrence threw two touchdown passes, Travis Etienne ran for a pair of scores and the Jacksonville Jaguars beat Indianapolis 37-20 on Sunday for their third consecutive victory. It was the Colts’ ninth straight road loss in the series.

Coming off back-to-back victories overseas, the Jaguars (4-2) spent all week hoping to avoid a “London hangover.” They responded with their most lopsided victory of the season.

This one was essentially over in the third quarter when Lawrence connected with rookie tight end Brenton Strange for a 10-yard strike and put Jacksonville ahead 31-6.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE SPORTS COVERAGE ON FOXNEWS.COM

Lawrence also found Christian Kirk for a 29-yard score in the second. Etienne scored on runs of 2 and 22 yards early in the same quarter.

The Colts (3-3) had hoped to end a head-scratching road skid against Jacksonville that started in 2015. But Gardner Minshew, getting the start in place of injured rookie Anthony Richardson, turned the ball over four times in his return to Jacksonville.

A sixth-round draft pick by the Jags in 2019, Minshew fumbled once and threw three interceptions. Jacksonville now leads the NFL with 15 takeaways, with Josh Allen forcing the early fumble and Andre Cisco, Rayshawn Jenkins and Darious Williams getting picks.

Jacksonville’s defense has allowed 21 or fewer points in five of six games this season, one reason the team now sits alone atop the AFC South.

Lawrence and Co. have come around, too. With Lawrence and Etienne leading the way, the Jaguars have scored 85 points during their three-game winning streak.

JAGUARS HOLD OFF BILLS’ LATE SURGE TO COLLECT SECOND STRAIGHT LONDON WIN

Etienne gained 55 yards on 18 carries. Lawrence completed 20 of 30 passes for 181 yards, with the two TDs and an interception. He hobbled off the field late after getting sacked and had his left knee checked on the sideline.

Still, Lawrence was much more efficient than his counterpart.

Minshew completed 33 of 55 passes for 329 yards, with a touchdown to Josh Downs and the three picks. All of the INTs were thrown almost directly at defenders, surely reminding Jaguars fans of his limitations that showed up while losing his final seven starts in 2020.

TAYLOR’S WORKLOAD

Jonathan Taylor ran eight times for 19 yards, a slightly increased workload from his season debut a week earlier. He also caught five passes for 46 yards.

Still, Zack Moss scored on a 3-yard run in the fourth quarter and finished with similar numbers.

RICHARDSON TRAVELS

Richardson made the trip to Jacksonville, the NFL venue closest to his hometown in Gainesville, and watched from the sideline while wearing a sling on his right arm and a headset to listen to plays. Richardson suffered a sprained AC joint last week against Tennessee.

RECORD SETTER

Veteran backup offensive lineman Tyler Shatley broke the franchise record for consecutive games played at 129. Shatley has played in every game since Nov. 8, 2015, at the New York Jets.

Shatley’s streak started in his second NFL season. He broke the previous mark held by long-snapper Joe Zelenka. Shatley also made his 47th start, including 32 in the last four seasons.

Also noteworthy, Lawrence moved into fourth on Jacksonville’s all-time passing yards list and Etienne moved into eight for rushing touchdowns.

INJURY REPORT

Colts receiver Alex Pierce (left knee) was ruled out late. Rookie cornerback JuJu Brents left briefly with a cut on his nose in the third quarter. He was flagged for pass interference on his first play back in the game.

Jaguars CB Tyson Campbell (right hamstring) and RG Brandon Scherff (left ankle) were injured in the second quarter and did not return. Both went to the locker room for further tests and were back on the sideline in the third quarter.

UP NEXT

Colts: Host Cleveland next Sunday.

Jaguars: Play at New Orleans on Thursday night. Jacksonville has lost all three games in the Big Easy.
